“The 2022 Bourgogne rouge Côte d’Or comes from parcels just north of Meursault. It has a fresh, clean, vibrant bouquet with vivacious red cherry and strawberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied and crisp with crunch red fruit. What you might call a “gourmand” Bourgogne Côte d’Or.”
“A spicy and lightly earthy nose of red and dark fruit leads to racy and attractively textured flavors that display sneaky good length on the nicely complex finale. This is quite good for its level plus it has the stuffing to repay a few years of keeping if desired.”

Soaring from the glass with aromas of ripe cherries and licorice, the 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and generous, its expressive core of fruit framed by refined tannins. This is a delicious regional wine that will offer a broad drinking window.

Plenty of colour and fine, ample, but precise fruit for the label – very attractive. Supple, round and delicious in the mouth – with a nice finishing weight of flavour too – yes, delicious !
