Burgundy Report – Bill Nanson 2022-06

“A round and generous nose of darker red fruit. Supple, broad. Great texture, generous and involving. Floral finishing, modestly mineral – the finish bring a mineral energy. Lovely.”

The Wine Advocate – William Kelley 2021-01   89 pts

“The 2019 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is superb, bursting with aromas of cherries, dark chocolate and spices. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and charming, it’s lively and concentrated, with a pretty core of fruit and refined tannins. This cuvée just seems to go from strength to strength each year.”

Burghound.com – Allen Meadows   2021 – Issue 83

86-88 – “Very ripe aromas of plum, warm earth and humus retain reasonably good freshness. The exceptionally rich and voluminous flavors possess fine density and plenty of sappy extract that coats the palate on the mocha-infused finish.”

VINOUS Antonio Galloni – Neal Martin 2020-10 85-87 pts

“The 2019 Bourgogne Rouge, which was racked three weeks before my visit, has an ebullient bouquet of lavish red cherry and blueberry fruit. The palate is well balanced with soft tannins, more black than red fruit and a slightly ferrous finish. It will give three or four years of pleasure.”

Robert Parker Wine Advocate – William Kelley 2019-11   88 pts

Soaring from the glass with aromas of ripe cherries and licorice, the 2018 Bourgogne Pinot Noir is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and generous, its expressive core of fruit framed by refined tannins. This is a delicious regional wine that will offer a broad drinking window.

Burgundy Report – Bill Nanson 2019-11

All the domaine’s regionals come from the commune of Meursault, here from a little clos next to the domaine, and to the north towards Volnay. Only racked 10 days ago, but showing very well!
Plenty of colour and fine, ample, but precise fruit for the label – very attractive. Supple, round and delicious in the mouth – with a nice finishing weight of flavour too – yes, delicious !

Burgundy Report – Bill Nanson 2018-10

All the domaine’s regionals come from the commune of Meursault, here from a little clos next to the domaine, and to the north towards Volnay.
“A round, cushioned nose, cushioned with oak as well as fruit. Round in the mouth, full and invitingly flavoured, long, a line of fresh acidity. Ample and delicious wine.”

Robert Parker Wine Advocate – William Kelley 2018-10   84-86 pts

The 2017 Bourgogne Pinot Noir offers a boisterous bouquet of red berry fruits, spices and creamy recently used oak. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, melting and expressive, with a juicy, open-knit profile.

Burgundy Report – Bill Nanson 2017-10

“Here is some density and a very inviting concentration of fresh fruit, dark fruit. Lovely volume, a fine halo of fine tannin. Broad and delicious finishing. There’s good material here plus a juicy finish. Excellent.”

Burgundy Report – Bill Nanson 2016-11

“A hint of oak at the base of a very fine freshness. Lovely fresh complexity and quite some volume too – here is plenty of mid-palate oak flavour (not texture) but it’s still a lovely finish.”

Decanter Magazine – William Kelley 2016-10

“A pretty Bourgogne rouge, bursting with juicy red-black fruit and framed by fine, ripe tannins. As Anne Morey observes, “in 2015, nature did everything” – as this deliciously unforced wine demonstrates.”  87 points

Note : 16/20 – “Un bourgogne régional “tout simple”, mais bien plus qu’un simple bourgogne. L’ampleur et la densité du vin étonnent…”
