Les blancs d'Auxey sont harmonieux, très limpides, et généralement d'un or vert, avec des arômes de pomme reinette et d'amande fraîche.
Leur souplesse est dominante, juste relevée par une acidité plutôt discrète formant ensemble une bonne persistance.
Issu de terroirs très similaires à son voisin Meursault, ce vin, bien qu'issu d'un secteur plus tardif en raison de son orientation, lui ressemble beaucoup.
