Meursault Charmes1er cru
Maison Morey Blanc
- Vin Blanc- Classement : 1er cru
“Really quite rich and dense. But not lift. Very solid. Lots still to chew on.” 16.5/20
“Golden aroma. Sweet marzipan on the front palate. It is rich and dense and the intensity is good. The acidity comes though under the palate. It is tight and the palate is long.”
90-93 – “This is expressive with its spiced pear, roasted nut and white peach infused nose. There is an attractive generosity to the rich and full-bodied flavors that possess a plethora of mouth coating dry extract before culminating in a punch, dry and clean finish that dispalys plenty of salinity and relatively snappy acidity.”
“…Flower fruit and citrus blossom aromas that give way to naturally sweet, round and seemingly forward flavors…This is also notably harmonius with impressive finishing intensity”
WINE & SPIRIT – October 2009
91 points – “Light scents of wood spice, of cinnamon and caramel…The wine is vivacious, filled with fresh citrus flavor …”
“Ripe and onctuous, still with some new oak present, vanilla and ripe fruit, structured and broad palate, more exuberant, balanced by a good freshness and a long after taste, well made if you like opulent and rich Meursault, still a litlle young with present oak, give this some time.”
